Primetag protects your privacy

Learn how your social media accounts are connected to Primetag, what information is shared, and who has access to your data.

Refer to Step 4 of this article to access ready-to-share presentation available in multiple languages.

1. How it works

By linking your social media accounts to Primetag, you can share the information needed for your collaborations: portfolio, audience demographics, and the performance of your posts. We are a platform for social media professionals.

The main social networks trust us with their API to automatically access this private information after your consent. We are META partners. For now, TikTok does not provide an API, so we access the information publicly.

In order to connect your Meta account to Primetag, you need an Instagram creator account linked to a Facebook page. This is a requirement from Meta to allow us to access the information from your social media accounts.

If you need to create a Facebook account and link your Instagram/YouTube account to it, follow the steps in the step 3 of the following article.

Through the connection to networks associated with the Facebook page, we will have access to the two points indicated in the image below: your followers' data and the performance of your content.

2. Who has access

Only brands and agencies using Primetag will have access to your followers' data and the performance of your posts. Our clients use Primetag to search for and analyze profiles to collaborate with, as well as to manage their campaigns from start to finish within the software and to obtain reports with all the metrics.

Your audience data helps our clients evaluate if it aligns with their campaign goals. Additionally, your content performance data will also be used to generate result reports for the brands you already work with.

3. Why you should link your social media accounts
to Primetag

  • Share your demographics without taking screenshots, always updated.
  • You don’t need to share your passwords with anyone.
  • Your post metrics are automatically collected, and brands can generate reports.
  • After registering and linking your social media accounts, share your Primetag username and password with your representative so they can handle the rest.
